The Vestry

The Vestry is the elected lay council which, in cooperation with the Rector, provides leadership for the parish. The Vestry meets at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.

The Vestry is led by the Rector. There are two Wardens and nine Vestry Members.

The current Wardens are Donna Doyle and Martha Robinson.

Current Vestry Members are Thomas Mitchell, David L. Smith, John Tinti, Stacey Miner, John Schimminger, Charlotte Vogelsang, Ann Dutton, Ann Graham, and Bill Nitterauer.

The Vestry together with the Rector provide leadership and decision making functions for the care, nurture, and functioning of the Parish. The Vestry is concerned with the upkeep and maintenance of the physical properties, fund raising, budgeting, and financing of parish properties and parish activities. This means that the Vestry takes an active interest in the identification and development of leadership in the parish.

Elections to the Vestry occur at each annual meeting. Three Vestry Members and a Warden are elected each year. A nominating committee is formed each year to recommend nominees for these positions.
